Honestly even the fresh choice in Oxford is better price wise and selection wise, the staff are more reasonable and friendlier, the only thing this supervalue has going for it and the only reason anyone even stops in there is because of their location and granted right next to tram road miles away from everything else paired next to one of the best gas stations in Canterbury, its no wonder the store itself puts so little effort in and cares so little about customers service/feed back, it’s a pitty because the amount of people going through there is increasing like crazy to the point they really should just shut it down and put a proper new world up, even more people would start using it and you’d have cornered the market on where most of north Canterbury would be doing their...

If you have a bit of time up your sleeve wander into the Mandeville shopping complex 😊 & the one thing you will notice it's not huge but it better that way. The prices @ super value are cheaper than new world in Halswell 🤔, so there you go 😃. Apart from Super Value there is a cafe come pub & I had a hot chocolate there $5.80 & was it good 🤩🤩🤩🤩 their menu for eating seems to be very affordable. I should add that the cafe had only been open for 5 or so days when I went in. Other shops include a petrol station, hairdressers, fish & chips & there's a couple of other aces there as well. Staff need to engage more with the person they are serving while they are serving them, not say hello then proceed to gossip with the next customer while still processing the goods of the customer they are actually serving. No receipt offered, the 12 goods I bought were processed and paid for by eftpos with one word spoken...
