It’s about a 45 minute climb from the car park on State Highway 84 near the Sir Tim Wallis Drive roundabout for the 250 metre climb to the summit. But it’s well worth it for the absolutely spectacular 360 degree views in all directions. You might be pooped from the climb but you won’t regret it for a minute. And of course going down is easier than climbing up. But make use of the toilets near the car park at the bottom as it’s a 90 minute round trip + the time...
Read moreGreat mountain for a short hike! There is a moderate ascent and a steeper ascent. You can do a loop or take the moderate side twice. A bit of history about the "steepness"... The mountain was formed by a Glacier pushing ice and land mass.. The flatter part is where the ice pushed and then the mountain makes a drop.. If you see the mountain from a distance you can clearly see this. See photo. Enjoy the hike!
