What a scenic and easy walk down to the waters edge. Some fisherman fishing right by the old lighthouse and no one else was around apart from them. With the beautiful Børvasstindene Mountains serving as a backdrop, we literally forgot about the malstroms! It was a nice calm day, the malstroms were mild if at all any, thus had I not known, I would not be able to tell this small strait had one of the strongest tidal currents in the world. Most time efficient, brings you right to waters edge for safe viewing, smooth and warm ride in comfy Tesla to and from site, and much lower cost per person than rib boats. Easy to book on line. Bodo taxi app (Taxifix) worked like uber. We could see car approaching. Atla, our Driver/ guide spoke perfect English, was very informative and took group photos for us. As Two couples with very limited time in Bodo, we appreciated pick up at Radisson hotel and drop off at airport.
