Grønligrotta is an excellent choice if you are looking after easier tour in caves. Guides are well aware of mechanisms, which carved those caves and are ready to explain those to you. Albeit it is fairly easy tour for healthy people, it may be challenging with bad knees. One noteworthy thing is that restaurant does not have anything to offer before main tourist season starts. We faced this issue at the beginning of July when we asked after something to eat.

A cave to visit for its originality. Attention it is a little roots but the pleasure is there. We visited it the last weekend before closing, so the restaurant part was already closed. The guide in Norwegian and English was a young teenager not always attentive to our possible difficulties.

Great cave experience with kids! Cave have lights but I suggest to bring your own also. Do not put your best clothes on and make sure to wear shoes with good grip. Good guidance in English also.

Definitely worth a visit! Rare experience to walk in the network of tunnels underground formed by the work of nature. Guides are skilled and share thrilling and very interesting information about the risks that professional cavers face during discovery and exploration of caves, what to do and not to do in case of getting lost in the maze or entrapment in the gaps… how to read rock patterns trying to find your way out etc.

Not too far from Mo I Rana. If you are on a trip with a van or camper, I suggest stay over night in a spot close to Gronligrotta, visit the cave in the next morning and thereafter head to Marmosslotten to visit...
