Visite guidée en anglais très intéressante et détaillée de la vie et du travail des mineurs. Un belle visite de la galerie passionnante pour les enfants . Il y fait frais : prendre une veste et de bonnes chaussures pour marcher. Ouvert entre 10 h et 16 h seulement. Nous avons décidé de dormi à Sauda pour faire cette visite le lendemain et nous n’avons pas été déçus.

Mooi gebied. Met gids de mijn in gegaan. Ze vertelde over de geschiedenis van deze mijn en de nieuwe gebouwen die er recent zijn neergezet. Leuk om te doen. Echter je kan slechts 3x per dag in de zomer de mijn in met gids. Wij waren er op tijd voor de rondleiding van 15 uur.

Mooi gebied. Met gids de mijn in gegaan. Ze vertelde over de geschiedenis van deze mijn en de nieuwe gebouwen die er recent zijn neergezet. Leuk om te doen. Echter je kan slechts 3x per dag in de zomer de mijn in met gids. Wij waren er op tijd voor de rondleiding van 15 uur.

Exciting Place in a wonderful, rough landscape. Take the guided tour in the old zinc mine, it is a blast!

We had a wonderful guide and she told us a lot about the history of the mine and the workers. Be aware it is cold, wet, muddy and with some narrow parts. Nothing for people with claustrophobia.

Before or after the tour try some coffee and/or cake at the cafe! Rounds up the whole experience!

~500meters long tunnel into mountain, and thats it, not worth time or money p.s. bought online ticket for 11am, but they started tour 10.30 without notice, we had to try to catch up with them on our own...
