I normally don't like to do reviews, because everyone looks at things with a different perspective and what is good to some may be bad to others. Nor do I put much stock into reviews that others write for the same reasons. However, every once in a while, you come across a place that is just that good. I just spent the last 2 weeks of August in Norway. Traveled from Bergen to Stavanger all the way to Tromso, down to Lofoten and back to Bergen.., almost 5000 miles. I stayed in quite a few places from some small family owned places to some of the larger hotel chains in the larger cities and this place was 2nd to none of them. Spent 2 nights here and if I ever come back and I hope I get the chance too, I'm not even going to look for another spot. this place should get 10 stars. It’s good but it’s the one place we stayed which we don’t think deserved the current Google rating. Still 4* though… The good Great location for exploring in general by car and not far from groceries the hike just above the site offers great views (and we hiked about 10 mountains here so can compare!) the staff are incredibly friendly the sauna is stunning (300 nok 1 hour) Really clean rooms The less good -Booking through a third party that meant we booked a disabled room without realising. It’s also expensive, but also on par for Lofoten Beds had very soft mattress topper which wasn’t comfy. 1 pillow each Whilst we managed to liaise on a couple of things on WhatsApp, they weren’t super responsive, so we weren’t sure if our requests were confirmed (but they did do as we asked!) from the cheaper rooms the road traffic is audible we were unlucky there was a power cut as we were leaving - can’t be helped though! they didn’t sweep the last guest’s sand...

The cabin where I was hosted was very nice. The view from room, living room and terrace was very beautiful. The cabin was very good condictions and clean. I hosted in a room with two bed (upstairs, first floor). The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big and clean. It has hairdryer. Kitchen has everything that you need for cooking and eating (fridge, microwave, dishwasher,...). The living room is big and beautiful. It has everything you need to be comfortable (table, chairs, couch,...). The heating works very well. We never feel cold inside the cabin. Cabin has washing machine. The sauna was great. I suggest to be 10-15 minutes inside the sauna and after taking a fast swim and coming back to sauna for 10-15 minutes again. You will feel very relaxed after this experience. It is easy to park the car. There is a big parking. It is a pity rooms with two bed have not enough space for two person and baggage. I...
