Nizwa Grand Mall — Local services in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate

If you're staying at Nizwa, you might struggle to get Western-style food.

At the Grand Mall, you can get: frozen yoghurt smoothies and fruit juices fast food (Hardee's for burgers, KFC and Chicking for chicken) Indian food (at the food court) Vietnamese/chinese food (at the food court) Pizzas and pastas (at the food court)

There's also a HUGE Carrefour supermarket, where they stock loads of freshly prepared foods, baked goods (croissants, muffins, breads etc), fresh veg and fruits, as well as anything you would want. Even imported foods. I even saw imported Japanese tofu - surprisingly!

Apart from food, there are some shops for clothes, electronics, etc. Of interest to tourists is the shop selling dates just opposite Carrefour. We bought a big pack of dessert dates for OMR1.5 and it is truly very tasty. Good for snacking!

There is also a (small) ice skating rink, amusement arcade, and bowling alley. If you're bored. Or have kids to entertain.

Note that there is a "Nizwa Grand Mall" and a "Nizwa Mall" (next to each other) so go to the right one. The non-grand mall has Lulu supermarket and...
