Bought meat at closing time end February for next nights dinner. That evening we found the meat was definately off. The next day I returned it for 2 reasons... to notify the store so that they are aware and ask for a refund or exchange for something else and I was more than willing to pay in if need be. I went back the next morning before 11h00 and was refused a refund because I was supposed to return the meat immediately. The fact that the store was closed at 20h00 at night did not hit home. They were also not interested about the meat that was off neither apologised. A young lady from the back came to the till kept pointing to the slip saying I waited to long to return the product. The fact that the shop was closed at night did not hit home. I left the shop then went back in took the meat and threw it in the garbage bin outside the door to prevent it finding its way back to the shelve. I always liked the idea behind Casa de Jamon, we needed this type of store … However I am troubled by the service sometimes …regarding fresh produce especially, they are displaying celery for an example putrid and other veggies over the hill. Cashier takes a very long time to correct a mistake and she is not smiling, or has no idea about an info regarding the merchandise. This store is really small she should know, but I guess costumers are the last on her list of priorities….as in many places here… The starting team was great but now things changed...

Unique grocery store with European goods. Excellent selection of olive oil and meats. Double check your fruits and veggies before leaving as they are prepackaged and sometimes contain spoiled goods. Not the grocers fault....
