We stayed here while visiting friends in the area and while the beds were not comfy, and the wireless did not begin working until the 3rd day of our stay it was just really a wonderful stay because of the people that manage here. ||You pull up out front and there was Rosa coming out to open up the gate and offer a very warm greeting along with coffee as well.||The credit card machine did not work correctly, thus we had to pay cash - not really a problem however it was an inconvenience. The wireless we were told had a broken router and that it should be fixed soon - soon was 3 days later and frankly there are a number of places in the area where you can tap into wireless. At the third day wireless worked and it sizzled it was so fast!||Breakfast is continental, meaning toast/jam/butter, orange juice, coffee and Creamora. We bought eggs and milk and they prepared breakfast for us for a couple of dollars a day so we could avoid the cancer causing agents in that Creamora and have a good breakfast to start the day with scrambled eggs.||The inn is surrounded by well maintained gardens, we watched as Rosa would tend to the various areas each day, she along with Anna also helped with Breakfast.||There is a house cat here, don't pet it! It will purr and then will stick it's claws into you leg - not fun!||The mornings here are brisk in tempurature, so be sure to bring a jacket and it can get quite windy at night and while the inn does not have central AC, you just open up a window and you'll find the fresh air to be quite nice and comfortable.||The rooms are pretty small, basic - our room had a double bed and a twin bed with one small chair (no TV or radio in the room by the way - a TV is in the lobby.) The room however and the bathroom was extremely clean.||The detractors here would be that the credit card machine didn't work, the internet was down for 3 days, the beds are not comfy (at all, like sleeping on a brick) and skip the cancer causing creamora and get your own milk.||We did stay for an extra day - overall it is the people that make that place special and we would stay here again and then just go and get a back...

Read moreI was acting as a guide for a friend of mine who came from Europe and during our tour of Panama we stopped by in Boquete (without reservations) for 2 nights. The choice is broad but the prices tend to be on the high side for most. At the Tourist Center they recommended us this new country inn and were totally satisfied with the price/quality (at least prices in 2010).||||We were the only guests during those days (low season) but the receptionist (Elizabeth) was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were top of the class, The friend of mine had troubles with the hot water but I didn't.||||Breakast was fantastic and usually served by Elizabeth and the lively owner of the country Inn. Both were fantastic and we didn't have ANY complain at all, there was wireless internet, tv all you could need.||||I only recommend you have a car because it is situated in "high Boquete" so if you want or need to go to the center of town (where you will most likely want to walk around and visit) you will need a car or walk a kilometer or two. Other than that TOP CHOICE. Would I stay there again, most definitely if I...
