Embera Tribe Tour — Local services in Caimitillo

What a day! We were part of a 12 person group (5 adults, 7 children), and other tour providers were not able to guarantee that we could all stay together on the trip. After some online research we found Goran, who assured us that we could all experience the day together. He sent photos and a video of the meeting area prior to our arrival, so it was hassle free to meet up that morning without worrying about where we were going. Goran and the Embrara guides are very familiar with each other, so the whole day worked perfectly. He was great with all the kids, especially the younger ones who needed a little help crossing the river on the hike up to the waterfall. While we were at the beautiful falls, I noticed Goran had taken up position on the high ground where he could keep an eye on all of us and make sure everyone was having a good time. Once we arrived at the village, he assisted the Embera hostess by interpreting her comments into English for us. We were lucky to run into Goran by a chance encounter. He was very knowledgeable on many things regarding the Embera tour, but he was also very helpful with giving us tips on all things regarding Panama City. He even helped me buy some cheap fruits from the market and pointed me to some excellent local restaurants... Wish I met you earlier into my Panama...
