Un lugar lleno de historia, de emociones encontradas, saber que tanta gente murió en ese sitio, personas que aún están enterradas ahí A la vez un lugar hermoso, rodeado de dos cordilleras, que le dan una vista espectacular, la vegetación es hermosa, hay muchas flores de colores, ambientes ideales para sacar unas buenas fotos y también para quedarse admirando tanta belleza

Lugar histórico, es recomendable ir con guía para aprender sobre el lugar y el suceso que hubo hace años. Este Monumento Cristo Blanco, es un excelente lugar para meditar y observar un gran area de Yungay. También es genial para fotos en lo alto del monumento. Les recomiendo ir abrigados ya que hace bastante frío y llevar impermeable en caso de lluvia.

El Cristo de Yungay o también llamado Cristo Blanco con sus más de diez metros de altura es un monumento que impresiona a visitantes locales y extranjeros tanto por sus dimensiones como por la ubicación inmejorable en este lugar nostálgicamente histórico. Esta imagen de 9 toneladas inaugurada en 1966 pudo resistir el terremoto y consecuente alud de 1970 que sepultó la ciudad de Santo Domingo de Yungay...
