Hugot Paradise Beach Resort — Local services in Calatagan

The place is bit pricey for what facilities it can offer. The beach is crowded and the beach water is not that clean. The family room doesn't have it's own bathroom, the aircon was fan cold only as the electricity voltage was not enough during our stayed whether this is true or not we could not verify it. Parking is not free, the place is suited for barkada's but not for family who are looking for serene and quiet place. The only thing I like about the place is the owner, you can easily speak to her. Misleading information! They did not indicate the actual price on our conversation and eventually charge us the excess. Confirmed our booking (booking form has a price) and did not correct its price. They emailed us the actual price of the room but they did not said that the invoice will be sent via email so we haven't check it out beforehand. And also the staffs are also disrespectful 🤮 the male staff has his friends and drink on one of their cottage and kind of mimicked us when we are requesting for something. worst beach resort!!

It's disappointing. There's a per head fee, plus an additional charge for the cottage. Their pool is situated behind the owner's house, and our cottage, although beachfront, was just a simple bamboo structure. To get to the pool, you have to exit the resort and pass through two others resort, which is quite a distance. The beach was rocky and the surroundings were dirty. This isn't to bash them, just based on our experience. So, that day, we moved to another place, luckily finding one quickly. It's a shame our down payment here went to waste. We were really...
