I spent two nights here, particularly in the room with the name Gakitgakit. By the way, each room here bears the name of an island in the Islas de Gigantes group. The room is air-conditioned and clean. The double bed is, however, small for two people sharing a bed. The beach fronting the resort is not as photogenic as the top-notch white sand beaches in the surrounding islands. Yet, I find solace on it with a bit of drama while I took a stroll early in the morning. There are fishing boats moored along the shore and the crags of Gigantes Sur across a narrow strait that inspires wonderment and curiosity. The lady owner (her husband is the former barangay captain) suggested to me a land tour, in particular two attractions in the island - Bakwitan Cave and Century Old Lighthouse.
