Happy Ripples Beach Resort — Local services in Pangasinan

Its a one time deal and never come back to this establishment! We held our high school reunion in this place on 26th of December 2024,,,,,the resort as they call it did not even meet half of our expectation.

We numbered around 30 but they counted-in even our visitors who happened to mingle for a while in the resort and even the drivers who just fetch-in our things.....the reason was, because they want to bill us 200 per head as entrance fee..The receptionist doest look line receptionist and unfriendly in answering my inquiries regarding their billing. I thought that they do not even know how to count people..... they billed us 38 pax @ 200 each, where in fact we are actually 29 or 30 including our visitors. I asked the receptionist if her manager or owner is around so I can talk to him. She called the owner and I personally ask him for consideration not to bill that 38 people because we numbered only 29 or 30.....He disapproved my plea, he is not considerate, and to my surprise he can barely talk tagalog. He is a chinese.... so i have no choice but to pay what they demand.... "happy ripping their customers".... we will never come back and no way to recommend this. Cant not even qualify for a "last resort". And if you want to use their videoke you'll have to pay 10 pesos per song! They told us its free when we made our reservation earlier before the event.

Regarding their facilities: They have dirty public toilets. Their pavilion has plenty of holes in the roof, and they even tried to charge us P5k for using their pavilion, which we agreed free during reservation. Come on! please do not take advantage of your guests!!!!!!.....Their swimming pool is unsuitable for swimming, it seems that they lack maintenance...

I CAN NOT EVEN RECOMMEND YOU AS A VENUE FOR...

Reception is talking by the phone, have to wait for 10 minutes

The room had a broken door lock, replaced the room, the new room had broken shower heater, so only cold shower. They also offered to change the room one hour later, but was about 9 pm, so we stayed in current

Food is served in an open terrace, there are a lot of flies and a cat, begging for a food

The hotel leases the swimming pool, so there were around 15 people in that small swimming pool, the deepest spot was 1,5m. The gates to access the beach were closed and they refused to open on request

The shower was dirty, we asked to clean, they cleaned, but still remained dirty, cleaning was not good, the towels were dirty

The room is full of lizards and small bugs

The air conditioner is very noisy and the regulator is absent, you can only switch on or off by unplugging from the socket

Cooking is not allowed

The hot food served was wrapped by a non temperature proof plastic. The fish was with a lot of small bones mixed with a vegetables, vegetables were overcooked, serving time about half an hour with only two tables occupied

All furniture is broken, the sinks are dirty and rusty, the light bulbs are plain led and cut the eyes, all surfaces have a holes, web net on windows, windows are not sound proof

Next morning at 5 am beach access was still closed and only opened at 6 am, the beach is covered with a junk including broken glass, and there were small stones, water was green, on transparent, slope was not steep, boats were...

Overall the resort is nice and family friendly compared to others nearby. Location is good. Parking safe. Staff are courteous and attends to your concerns immediately. I hope they can still make the pool bigger and maintain its cleanliness especially during peak season. We got the Capiz House 2 which was okay for us for a family of 10 and 4 kids. Hope they can provide dining table inside coz its too hot in the mid-day to eat outside the veranda. Additional aircon will be better since its quite hot during the day. The house was big and clean except for the clogged sink which needs repair i think. Good thing is they allow cooking so I cant talk much of their food there. Suggest to have a nearby dirty kitchen on the side of the Capiz house to wash dishes and cooking utensils. We enjoyed the area where you play volleyball, billiards. An additional videoke is also better along the billiard area. The beach is just few steps from the resort which is just fine. The resort can still be improved and developed a lot so it can attract...
