Kembali Coast — Local services in Samal

The view is decent, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. We booked a condo unit over a week in advance, but when we arrived, we encountered immediate issues. The guard refused to let us in without authorization and wouldn't assist in contacting the person in charge—we had to handle it ourselves. After finally getting through, we were told the caretaker would meet us at the gate. We waited for 20-30 minutes after a tiring 6-hour journey, hoping to stretch our legs. We asked if we could wait in the lobby, but the guard was unsure if that was even allowed—seriously?

When the caretaker eventually arrived, she mentioned she wasn't informed that anyone was staying in that condo and asked us to wait while they prepare it. Exhausted, we sat in the lobby until it was ready. The resort has three pools, first pool costs 500 PHP per person, the second one has tp be paid separately and the third, although visible, is restricted to owners only—a frustrating detail considering its public placement near the condos. The beach, the only free of use , is 2km away from the units.

Overall, the experience was disappointing. I’ll leave it to you to decide whether this place is worth your money or if you’d be better...

This is the worst resort and condo rental ever. Never ever book your staycation here because it is a hell on Earth. Walang electricity sa umaga until 12 midnight. Generators can carry few rooms only. Room 2106 and other nearby veranda has no wifi access. The caretaker would not care at all. Tapos, leaking lavatory pa. We have a child in the room and all he did was crying because grabe kaigang. Everything as well has charge. Kulang na lang paglibang nimo naa pay bayad. Booking service sucks! She's down to a resolution of sending us home na lang? HAHAHA kaloka ka gurl. The owner of the room 2106 has been out of space na siguro kase everything was poor and unmanageable. Christmas decor pa ang interior sa room. Welcome to Kembali, enjoy your hellish stay.
