Memoriale Auschwitz III (Monowitz) Während viele Besucher das Hauptlager Auschwitz oder Birkenau besuchen, ist es hier vergleichsweise ruhig. Das kleine Denkmal erinnert an die ehemalige Fabrik und die grausamen Verbrechen, die an diesem Ort begangen wurden. Leider wirkt die Anlage nicht sehr gepflegt. Dennoch wollten wir hier bewusst einen Halt machen – um ein Gefühl für die Dimension des Wahnsinns und die historische Bedeutung dieses Ortes zu bekommen. Einen Parkplatz haben wir schnell gefunden, von dort aus erreicht man das Denkmal nach einem kurzen Fußweg. 👉 Kein „schönes“ Ausflugsziel, sondern ein Ort zum Innehalten und Erinnern.

Miejsce bardzo ważne, okupione krwią i męczeństwem wielu ludzi. Stoi pomnik, który jest mocno zaniedbany. A wokół nic się nie dzieje. Przydały by się jakieś tablice informacyjne z opisami i historią tego miejsca. Powinna też być tu przynajmniej makieta tego obozu.

Miejsce bardzo ważne, okupione krwią i męczeństwem wielu ludzi. Stoi pomnik, który jest mocno zaniedbany. A wokół nic się nie dzieje. Przydały by się jakieś tablice informacyjne z opisami i historią tego miejsca. Powinna też być tu przynajmniej makieta tego obozu.

A place to visit although the commercial tourist trips tend to forget this site and a lot more.

It's possible to commemorate and put flowers at this memorial site.

I am happy ... it made the experience more complete even so the understanding of the atrocities that had been taken place and we should...

⚠️ Cuidado con la gestión de entradas ⚠️ Hicimos una reserva para el tour y el museo la canceló con solo 3 horas de antelación. Reservamos de nuevo para el día siguiente y también nos la cancelaron, sin devolución del dinero. Al final tuvimos que venir a las 7:30 de la mañana, bajo la lluvia y el frío, para hacer cola en taquilla y conseguir entradas presenciales. Una experiencia muy frustrante con la gestión de reservas: a la tercera va la vencida, pero todavía sin el reembolso de las entradas que el propio...
