Trattoria Galicja — Restaurant in Oświęcim

Very poor service, we have been to enjoy a dinner in nice looking restaurant and this is the only thing letting us to go there again. We popped in around 8.30pm nobody came to us till 9.10pm until my friend asked about service at the bar. When waitress arrived 5minutes later we have ordered 3 soups, plate of chef's rolls and siciliana tagliatelle, we go to the point lady servicing us said that we will wait for rolls around 15 minutes and asked us that soups can be served before the appetiser(rolls) so assumed that soups will arrive within 15min. We agreed, however the first part of our dinner b arrived after around 30min (still before that rolls😂😂😂😂) soups have been tasty - onion and sour soup(Żurek). So if we can count a time after finish of our first part of the meal passed around 1h 30min. Was about 10pm now - still no rolls🍴🍴🍴🍴, we have decided to go quickly for a break outside and strech the legs there. While arrived back to the table I found my tagliatelle(very ordinary, nothing special and only few prawns inside 3or 4 very small one) and no rolls which arrived few minutes later and all simple order took around 2 hours, the food wasn't nothing special and extraordinary and took unexpected time to serve in really messy order. We had also mulled beer, which we understand that isn't a season for it yet, however having a bar and to make other cocktails you have access to all necessary ingriedients to make it, we felt that waitress wasn't really interested to even ask a bar tender that is possible to make. Go to the end, impression is only on place, which is looking lovely and posh, apart of it, everything (soups where ok) was much below expectation, if I want to add Something extra, price for all this wasn't equal to service or...

No air conditioning at this hotel. OK I understand it's in Europe and not every place in Europe has air conditioning, but as it was 30° when we stayed here, it would at least be nice to have a fan in each room. However this wasn't the case. The front desk had a few fans for people who wanted to borrow them but not enough for all the rooms. Main lobby is air conditioned so why not the guest rooms too?

Breakfast has very limited options compared with other hotels in Poland. At least everything was clean. All the pancakes served had a large amount of thick cream on them; it would have been better to have the pancskes and cream seperate and allow the guests to decide if they want cream or not.

Restaurant on the ground level is very good.

We did not try the spa facilities as we only had a 1 night stay so I can't...

Really slow service. Waited over an hour for food and drinks. Many people walked in after us and got served immediately. Eventually one salad turned up and when asked where rest of food was waiter was a little rude about it and basically said that the kitchen were too incompetent to send dishes out together or in a reasonable time. In addition to this the homemade lemonade was so bitter it was undrinkable and we had to send it back with instructions on how to make lemonade. Food was amazing tho. Really nice when it...
