I was mesmerised by this huge sculpted in the rock Senhora da Boa Estrela. Inaugurated in 1946, the sculpture over 7 meters high was designed by António Duarte, based on the intention of the local parish priest to pay homage to the holy protector of the shepherds, who have faced the storms of the harsh region for centuries. Um lugar mágico, maravilhoso e cheio de energias positivas.
