Dona Carolina seemed very disturbed that her employee was cleaning the bottle, mentioning that there was a toilet for that. (I asked to sanitize with hot water). Thank you Joana for taking care of your guests. You’re doing it right. After ordering we asked for water and D. Carolina said her job is working in the kitchen and her employee would take the order. Maybe the table in the corner which seemed like regular (wealthy) guests deserved all D Carolina’s attention. It’s very common that in Portugal that restaurant owners truly believe in the good taste of the food. Although it’s very easy to find it in any other restaurants.
