This branch is so small you can’t call it super, the items’ choices are limited, the worst is the cashier that makes fun of people and try to delay lines for no particular reason, only to make you feel he is important!! My bad experience with the cashier (the first towards the entrance), happened only two days ago, when I approached him with full cart he laughed and talked with the next cashier about my cart load!??? Today, around 4:00 PM, I bought some items and unfortunately he was the only cashier available, since the other one was counting his cash!! He started ringing only three items and all of the sudden he told me should I continue?, amazingly I asked: what is wrong? He replied: the total is more than 400 SAR!!! I said cancel these items because I am in a hurry, but he called upon the other cashier and they went in discussing which and why the total went up, patiently I stood up waiting for them, the other cashier took one item and went to the administration room!!!! With more than 5 people waiting behind me, I decided to cancel all of my purchases and went out to the next Panda supermarket and bought my groceries from their. Today I visited this branch, and since there was only one cashier, I went to the customer service as usual to finish my purchase, unfortunately the salesman refused to accept me despite there was no people standing there? I asked him why he said we only accept ip to 10 items, I said I have only less than 15 items and there was no sign to say how many items so please let me go but he refused so I went to the duty manager, who told the cashier: who said we limit items, you should have...

During a recent visit to the King Abdullah Road branch of Tamimi Markets—conveniently located near King Saud University—I was impressed by the store’s spacious layout and wide selection of both local and international products. The branch, recently renovated, features contemporary décor and showcases a variety of fresh departments including meat, seafood, deli, bakery, and a Miros section for dried fruits, nuts, and spices .
The fruit and vegetable sections were abundant and visually appealing, with produce that looked both fresh and carefully curated. The imported goods aisle stood out—featuring brands like Kirkland Signature, Safeway, and Sainsbury’s—offering thoughtful browsing for those seeking Western or specialty items .
Ready-to-eat draws attention too: rotisserie chickens, pizzas, breads, and humus are made daily, perfect for students or busy shoppers . The store operates 24/7, which is ideal for late-night grocery runs .
On the service front, the staff was generally helpful and friendly, though during peak hours certain areas—like checkouts—can become congested. Parking is ample but traffic within the plaza can slow entry or exit. Prices felt slightly higher than generic supermarkets, though the quality and variety justify the premium .
Overall, this branch is a top choice for students and residents in the King Saud University area—offering fresh produce, international delicacies, 24/7 convenience, and a welcoming...
