An excellent state of art facility exhibiting the technologies use in upstream and downstream.

A must visit place if you are in Khobar-Dammam. Previously popular as "Saudi Cultural Centre"; "King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture" - is now called "Ithra" and has a landmark design of stones sitting on each other, forming shape of infinity. The place is managed by Saudi Aramco and hosts the Energy Exhibit - where it explains the jist of Crude exploration, Oil extraction, Process of transportation, Refining and linking the day-to-day products to its source in Crude Oil. Gr8 use of technology to develop simulations and interactive games that help understand and also intrigue further. Kids will also have a gr8 time here. There are activities for kids happening round the year - keep checking the website for events, to make most of ur visit. Entry to Ithra (in general) and the Energy Exhibit is FREE - events may have tickets...
