We came all the way from jubail for the children's festival going on, only to be told that tickets to none of the events was available. When I called a week prior to the visit to enquire how to book tickets on their app, they asked me to come directly to Ithra and buy tickets to the festival. However, I was left wondering how poorly managed the kids event was. There were hundreds of kids who did not get any tickets because it all sold out. They announced such festivals expecting huge footfalls and have seats for like 15-20 kids per event, be it coloring, painting or play area. I saw so many disappointed kids with families going back, including us. Each session in every event is spaced an hour apart between 4-11pm and each session could take only 15-20 kids?? Such a waste of resources.
And their app deserves a stinker too. It shows the events listed and also shows the Prebook Ticket option. But when you try to book, it says PRODUCT ID NOT AVAILABLE. This was why we were forced to go unreserved to Ithra. Calling Ithra Cc to fix the app issue was of no use.
I am not going back again there. We took the kids to a play area just to cheer them up since Ithra turned out to be...

Read moreDesperately needs a good Customer Experience designer. The gate is very difficult to find, you can see a well-lit pathway leading you up to a closed door, meanwhile, there is no sign directing you to the actual door and you can’t see it since it is underground. The museum itself is cool but there were no directions on where to find it, you must ask the reception then ask again on your way to it. They say on the website that the exhibition is open until 11:00P.M but they close at 10:30P.M and accept late visitors without informing them how much time is left. It is quite bad. However, they were “nice enough” to tell us that they could compensate us the next day (which was a hassle since it was a weekend), but we accepted their compensation and came back to see the areas we’d missed. You can tell they spent a lot of work on it, but too bad they failed to make it easier for...
