I recently had the opportunity to visit Noug, a renowned shop that offers camel milk products. Having already tasted their fantastic products at a friend's house, I was eager to explore their offerings firsthand. However, my visit to Noug left me deeply disappointed and questioning their customer-centric approach.
Firstly, I must acknowledge that the quality of Noug's camel milk products is exceptional. When I tried their products at my friend's house, I was blown away by the rich and creamy taste. The fantastic experience I had with their product initially heightened my expectations for my visit to the shop.
Regrettably, the disappointing experience I encountered at Noug overshadowed my positive impression of their products. Upon entering the shop, I was informed that it was mandatory to download their app in order to make a purchase. This requirement struck me as unprofessional and unnecessary. While I understand that businesses often leverage technology to streamline operations, making app usage a prerequisite for buying their products felt like an unnecessary barrier.
As a customer, I believe that convenience and accessibility should be prioritized. Requiring the download of a specific app to make a simple purchase seems impractical and alienating. It is important for businesses to cater to a wide range of customer preferences and technological capabilities. By enforcing a singular method of purchase, Noug disregards the needs of customers who may not be comfortable with or have the means to navigate such platforms.
Moreover, the insistence on app usage detracted from the overall experience and left a lasting negative impression. Instead of focusing on the exceptional quality of their camel milk products, Noug seemed more concerned with pushing the use of their app. This approach fails to prioritize the needs and preferences of their customers, ultimately diminishing the enjoyment and satisfaction that should accompany purchasing their fantastic products.
Due to this disappointing experience, I have made the decision not to patronize Noug again. While their camel milk products are undeniably delicious, the inconvenience and insistence on app usage outweighed my desire to continue supporting the business. I sincerely hope that Noug takes customer feedback into consideration and reevaluates their approach to provide a more inclusive and customer-centric experience.
In conclusion, my visit to Noug was marred by the mandatory app download requirement, hindering my ability to enjoy their fantastic camel milk products to the fullest. Despite the exceptional quality of their offerings, the disappointing experience left me questioning their customer-centricity. I encourage Noug to reconsider their policies and prioritize customer convenience for a more enjoyable and satisfying...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Noug, a unique café that boasts the use of camel milk in its offerings. Overall, my experience was quite positive, earning this café a solid four stars in my book.
Let's start with the highlight of my visit - the gelato. I opted for a scoop of their chocolate coffee & hail gelato, and while it was undeniably good, I did find the flavor to be a bit lacking in richness. The texture was incredibly smooth and creamy, and the idea of camel milk as a base was intriguing, but I hoped for a more robust and flavorful taste that could have elevated the gelato to a higher level of indulgence. Expanding the range of flavors with that same richness in mind could enhance the experience for those looking for variety.
The passionfruit smoothie was a winner for me, bursting with the tangy sweetness and sourness of fresh passionfruit. It was refreshing and satisfying, a perfect choice for a hot day.
On the other hand, the lychee smoothie left me a bit disappointed. It lacked the robustness and intensity of flavor that I expected. Perhaps a stronger infusion of lychee or the addition of complementary ingredients could elevate this drink to match the quality of the passionfruit smoothie.
I also did face issue with their application that is obligatory to download when you enter the café, in order to make your order, scan the QR code and pay. Luckily, my friend so happened to be with me so we used another application instead.
Despite these minor quibbles, Noug stands out for its innovative use of camel milk and its commitment to offering something different in the world of cafes. The gelato, while slightly lacking in richness, is worth a try, and the passionfruit smoothie is a must-try. With a few tweaks to the gelato's flavor profile and more attention to enhancing the lychee smoothie, this café has the potential to become a true gem for those seeking unique culinary experiences.
So, if you're adventurous with your taste buds and looking for something out of the ordinary, Noug is definitely...
Read moreFine products but disappointing customer experience!!! From attitude to app checkout, disappointing!!
We entered to explore their products and order some takeaway, a customer service guy approaches with broken English and says “cover your coffee cup please!! It’s from Costa and we don’t allow this in here” WHAT ?!!! Are your kidding me?!!! We were in the takeaway queue, are you expecting people to leave their belongings outside to come to “holy” shop?!! Rude and inexperienced people!!
Additionally, they insisted that ordering (even for takeaway) is done through their app ONLY… after wasting few minutes of signing up and putting items in the cart, checkout function kept crashing !!! 2 customer service agents kept trying and trying, recording a video of my mobile screen and eventually I checked out through their CASHIER?!!
Guys, please reconsider your attitude and your approach to forcing people to use your app (which doesn’t work by the way) I already uninstalled it!
Never again, good luck!! You...
