Banjska Stena — Local services in Bajina Basta Municipality

I experienced and visited Banjska stena twice. Few years ago, I hiked from Perućac to the top of mountain Tara. When you hike about 5 or 6 hours and then you get amazing view as your award is such amazing experience. The view is breathtaking and I recommend all hikers to climb this lovely mountain. Few days ago, I decided to go there by car to some point and then continue on feet (about half an hour). The place is still magical, but experience is incomparable. If you have kids, I truly recommend going by car and then hike through lovely mountain forest, but if you prefer a bit longer hiking, don't even think on your car as a transport to this...

Don't let challenging terrain detour you from seeing this wonder of nature, and when you do get there keep on going just a little bit further since there are few more spots with diffetent views over there. It truly is amazing just to be there, to watch over Drina river and over to the Republic Srpska. Very nice, but crowded area. This viewpoint is the most famous one and everyone comes here. Getting there is for free.

There is a parking spot very close to it (less than 2 km), don't be afraid by the bad road. Its condition could be better but we saw all kind of cars getting through.

There are some trails around the area but most are neither special nor do they have nice views...
