It is a beautiful beach in Praslin no doubt. It is not as big as Anse Lazio but very pretty enough but has strong currents. The way to the beach can be done by going through the beautiful golf course of the resort Constance Lemuria for which the reservation must be taken by call a day (or two) prior. The reservation is free as the beaches in Seychelles are public but just that this resort is built around Anse Georgette so you need to go through the resort to get to the beach.
The earlier you come to the resort is better as you can get space enough to park your car at the entrance gate of the resort and then sign a form at the gate and get going! There is a designated marked way to the beach through the golf resort but the way has a few ups and downs as the area is hilly so be ready for a slight exhausting walk.
We were lucky as we asked a buggy driver if he could drop us off at the beach and he took us down there! We tipped him as the buggy rides are for the resort guests only.
We carried some food and water with us as we heard there isnât any eateries down at the beach but we saw a man selling coconuts and fruits.
To return back to the main gate, we were lucky to get a buggy ride back too from the beach and avoid the walk. Buggy rides come every 2 hours or so (there is a notice near the beach that has the timings written for the guests to wait for their rides). The rides are definitely for the resort guests (as it is very much mentioned ) but outside guests can take a ride too if youâre lucky and avoid the whole...

This is a very nice beach with very clear water. Itâs an easy walk from one end to the other, and there are lots of trees for shade. You can snorkel there, and I saw quite a few colourful, tropical fish and some small schools of others, and a small turtle. You need to watch the fairly strong currents though, if you get too far out from the rocks, and there is very little coral or undersea flora to see.
There are limited lounges to hire, and they only take cash. There are two small bars there, and they also sell fruit platters.
It is a long, very steep, uphill and downhill walk from the car park to the beach. It is hard work on a hot day. Some people walked faster than us, but many others like us found it hard work, and it took 40 minutes one way. Those who claim it is a ten-minute walk clearly didnât check the time properly.
We live in a country with some of the best beaches in the world, and we have seen many different kinds around the world, but is this in the top ten? I think the claim is exaggerated; especially when you take the long, steep walk into account.
Iâve seen it and it was nice, but I would not return, because of the walk.
I think Anse Lazio is equally as nice, and the snorkelling is much better. I saw just as many beautiful fish and a turtle, but there is also a lot more coral growth there; many beautiful new pinkish pieces are clearly surviving well, but there were many varieties of other...
Read moreDespite Seychelles' growing popularity as a tourist destination, Anse Georgette has maintained its sense of seclusion, making it an ideal place for lovebirds seeking some alone time. The beach's white sands are ideal for sunbathing while the calm, clear water draws swimmers and snorkelers alike. But for many visitors, it's Anse Georgette's stunning views that deserve the most admiration. "Anse Georgette is one of the few things in life that left me speechless," wrote one TripAdvisor user. "From my point of view, this is the best beach on the island. It is a must."
To reach Anse Georgette, you'll need to pass through the adjacent Constance LĂ©muria Resort â an easy feat. Both the resort and the beach can be found on Praslin's northwest coast (about 3 miles north of the Praslin Airport); you can access the beach using the resort's well-maintained path, which also leads to the resort's golf course. You can access the beach at any time, day or night, for no fee, as long as you obtain permission from the resort in advance (only 30 non-guests are allowed on the beach at any...
