If you arrive earlier than your flight time, you are forced to wait outside at 35 C degrees with no fan! The only ceiling fans are located over the check-in counters… Apparently they care more about their staff than the passengers who, by they way, are the source of their income… There is no refreshing breeze either since the whole area is blocked by nylon. I guess they installed it in order to protect against rain coming sideways… I would prefer getting wet than suffering in the smothering heat waiting for my flight…
The airplanes of Air Seychelles are teeny-tiny without air conditioning… If you are over 1.50 meters (4.9 feet!) tall, you can’t even stand in there! The seats are super narrow & there is no space for your carry-on bag! You have to hold it on your lap in a confined space of unbearable heat… It made us feel claustrophobic during our flight to Mahe… WARNING: A BIG NO FOR PASSENGERS WITH HEART PROBLEMS OR OTHER HEALTH ISSUES!!!
