Home away from home. This is how one can describe the experience in Villa Aya. ||We had only 3 nights here, but it was enough to feel how warm Meruska and her team are welcoming everyone. We choosed the small villa and were afraid that it will be very small, but it is more than enoug for 2 person. You have everything what you need. The kitchen is very big and you can even cook if you want, but you don't need as there is a very good takeaway nearby and the grilled fish which can be served in Villa Aya is so delicious, that it should not be missed. ||The villa was cleaned everyday and what is very important in the corona times - desinfection and cleanliness have high priority here. ||Nearby (5 minutes walk) you have a the Grand Anse beach, which is very nice and was almost empty when we were there. Also a lot of grocery shops can be found in 5-10 minutes walk range. ||Villa Aya offers a free airport transfer and the driver was waiting for us, so we could proceed directly to the villa. Even if the villa is close to the airport, you can not hear any plane landing, it's very quite. In the garden we have seen different birds and on the day of the arrival you can just stay at the wonderful pool, if you don't want to go to the beach.||Actually I always write some advices to the owner in my reviews, but there is nothing which can be improved here. It was really the perfect stay. They are also offering tours and transfers at very good prices. Lage: in Amitie in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Inselflughafen von Praslin - bietet sich also an, wenn man nur eine Nacht auf Praslin bleiben möchte (Rückreise von La Digue). Vom Jetty in Baie St. Anne sind es etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Taxi (Kosten etwa 250 Rupien). Keine Strandlage, sondern in zweiter Reihe gelegen jenseits der Inselstraße. Hier sollte man genau wissen, was man möchte, oder was man nicht möchte, denn weder Amitie, noch die Grand Anse oder der Weg zum Guesthousegelände sind interessant oder gar als schön zu bezeichnen. Und die startenden Maschinen von Air Seychelles sollte man auch nicht vergessen. In diesem Fall ist es einfach alles nur sehr praktisch.||||Auf dem Gelände befinden sich 2 kleine Villen und ein großes Guesthouse, sowie das Wohnhaus der Eigentümer.||||Ausstattung: Die kleine Villa besteht aus einem Essbereich, einer funktionellen Küche mit Kochfeld, Spüle, Kühlschrank und Backofen (da Self-Catering), einem Schlafzimmer mit Safe, Klimanlage und Doppelbett und einem etwas größeren Bad mit Badewanne. Vor dem Cottage ist eine kleine Terrasse, von welcher man zum allgemeinen Innenhof blickt und auf dem Gelände gibt es einen Pool. Handtücher, sowohl für das Badezimmer als auch für den Pool, werden von den Eigentümern gestellt.||Alle Räume sind sehr ordentlich, aufgeräumt und sauber.||||Sonstiges: Die Betreiber bieten einen kostenlosen Flughafentransfer an (2 Minuten Fahrzeit). An der Straße findet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt, ein paar Gehminuten weiter kann man bei Whole Foods einkaufen. Noch ein paar Gehminuten weiter gibt es ein kleines Take-Away (welches wir nicht mehr direkt empfehlen würden).||Aufgrund von kleinen Bauarbeiten liefen tagsüber auf dem Gelände immer mal wieder Handwerker herum, dies störte uns jedoch nicht.||||Die Eigentümer, Marisca und Achil sind unfassbar freundlich und nahbar, fragen stetig wie das Befinden ist, ob mit dem Cottage alles okay ist und haben auch immer Zeit für Small-Talk. Außerdem stehen sie für alle Fragen offen und geben Tipps was man wie und wo auf Praslin machen kann. Auch die Kommunikation über E-Mail hat problemlos funktioniert. Zwei ganz tolle Leute. Thank you Marisca and Achil.||||Volle Punktzahl, denn wenn man mit der Lage oder dem Flughafenbetrieb unzufrieden ist, kann man sich ja vorher schon eine andere Unterkunft suchen - dem Internet sei Dank.||Dieses Self-Catering-Guesthouse ist echtes Praslin-Leben, so wie eben die Menschen dort sind und leben, und nicht das 5-Sterne-Strandresort irgendeiner...

We had 3 enjoyable nights at Amitie Chalets. Each morning you had a beautiful stretch of beach to yourself for a warm swim. We stayed in the 2 bedroom chalet and it was very spacious and clean. There was a complimentary breakfast starter kit of eggs, bread, juice etc, which was nice. The chalets is next to the small airport, which I didn't know was there until I saw a plane coming in to land. The complex was quiet, the gardens well looked after, which was what we needed as we were the only guests at the time. The area is quiet, a bus stop a few minutes walk, local supermarket approx 20 mins. ||We used public transport and it was ok to a point, but would suggest a car especially to get to some of the beaches.||The wifi, air con and ceiling fan worked well.
