Mason changed the lights that they used previously, which meant that the lights I had purchased this year could not be used with the older versions. There was so indications of the switch on the website so I was a little distraught when the lights arrived and I realised that they could not be used. That was my primary purchase this year because I wanted to have more lights on my tree.
When I contacted their support for assistance, the replies were lacklustre and apathetic. Furthermore, and this is the important part, please read their terms and conditions when it comes to refund. Firstly, you'd only be refunded 90% of the products and, secondly, you'd have to personally go down personally to their store to return it.
I understand companies can have the return policies they want and they did outline it in the terms and conditions (the support staff was quick to screenshot and simply send me this when I asked for help). However, this process is extremely unhelpful and I think it is important for potential buyers to just know that this is a good place to buy your deco from but if you encounter problems and need things like an exchange or a refund, it is either not possible or made really inconvenient for consumers.

We went online to search what was available at this time of the year. Apparently, mason had trees and a showroom available for viewing.
Made our way down, checked out the trees. They offered a decent range with early bird promos and free delivery once you hit a min spending. Made a purchase online, delivery date was available the very next day.
Unboxed the tree. Apparently there were some issues with the stand which is supposed to sit the tree firmly in place (before "screwing" it in). There were some welding issues, which doesn't quite allow the base to sit entirely within the frame itself. Got onto WhatsApp at about 7pm-ish, left Mason some pictures of the defects. Wasn't expecting a reply until the next morning, cause it was already after hours. Surprisingly, the staff responded and within 1.5hours a kind soul dropped by our place to provided a new replacement base.
Felt the responses were very prompt and Mason willingly accepted it was a defects and did what they needed to fix the issue. Great service recovery. Very much...
Read moreI ordered my 2021 Christmas tree in November from Masons as I always put up my tree end Nov to early Jan each year. It was nicely and promptly delivered. It was really easy to set up and was sturdy, well balanced on all sides and at all angles and stood firmly on the ground unlike some others which are wobbly! When puffed up, the pine leaves look lifelike. I’m glad we bought this tree from Masons. A few days later after setup my old set of lights died out. So I ordered 2 sets of light from Masons and also a Christmas wreath. But because these were bought separately I had to pat $10. For each delivery of the last 2 items. I would like to request Masons to consider waiver of delivery charges if items are bought separately within the same month, provided of cost the total adds up to the amount eligible for free delivery.
