Nestled in the heart of Tai Seng, Leaf Corner offers an exceptional vegetarian dining experience that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. From the moment I walked in, the casual ambiance immediately put me at ease.
The culinary adventure kicked off with their signature dish, the Mock Fish Head Curry. This intriguing creation blended ladyfingers, eggplant, pineapple, and fried tau pok in (IIRC) a milk-based curry that was a unique departure from the usual coconut milk variety. The rich and creamy curry was a burst of flavors, and the use of milk added a velvety texture that beautifully complemented the medley of vegetables and mock proteins.
Also ordered, the crispy mock prawns that were expertly coated in a golden cereal crust, providing a delightful contrast in textures. Equally impressive was the Char Kway Teow (multiple mentions in Google Reviews before I visit), the smoky aroma and an impeccable balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors, note: little spicy, can opt for non-spicy version in QR online menu.
For Stir-Fry Spinach, tasty, fresh & crispness. Paired with fluffy brown rice, it made for a wholesome and satisfying combination that catered to both taste and nutrition. The attentive staff were quick to respond making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
I do not usually frequent vegetarian restaurants , Leaf Corner stands out as a gem for its good variety menu and execution. Leaf Corner's unassuming charm, delectable dishes, and wallet-friendly approach are a winning combination. Plus, the absence of 10% service charge was a...
Read more1 Jul 24 , 6 star for good value, service and atmosphere. The food is Superb as always. New faves: Claypot rice - slightly oily but very tasty rice accompanied with juicy lion mane pieces with slightly crispy crust. Hokkien mee - don’t forget to add the sambal to the beautifully fried noodles. Its milky wetness is just right.
Weekday nights are much less crowded and of course, watch out for the crowd on 1st and 15th of lunar calendar and special occasions like Mother’s Day.
11 May 2023 upgrade to 5 star Good value, good service, good taste, good variety, good environment. Can get crowded so be prepared to wait for something good:) Don’t forget to get the condiments (but try not to use the plastic lah) - the sambal chilli is amazing. Oh and bring home sth from the “shop”, such a range of goodies!

Building was easy to find at night, thanks to it's bright LED which you can see from downstairs. Good choice use of those LEDs!
Was there to celebrate my dad's birthday. Kudos to the kitchen team for whipping up such delicious food, and also the awesome service staffs.
Cereal prawn wasn't too sweet, and the cereal carried it well. Sweet potato leaves were young and it was cooked just nice. Shark fin's soup was great, right amount of starch. Baby Kailan some in my group found it to be a little bland, however I find it's fine as it brings out the sweetness of the baby kailan. The hotplate tofu, however, was a little salty for my liking.
Btw, The 油饭 is highly recommended if you like chicken rice. There are 3 types of rice to choose from — Plain, 油饭 (chicken rice style), and brown rice.
On the menu there's kopi o, but they're left with instant white coffee & I just went ahead with hot ginger tea. Beverages aren't the star here as they're mainly instant.
Overall, I would visit again,...
