Edit: visited for the second time today and came back with no treatment.
I booked an appointment for 5pm for cut and colour. I reached on time to an empty studio with just one stylist. We started communicating and soon realised that thereās a language barrier as he did not have a grasp on the English language and I did not know his (guessing Japanese) - so very early on he told me to ācome back when thereās someone elseā - how does that work if a customer has taken out their time and taken an appointment to come and then you tell me to go back?
Anyway, I thought itās ok we can give it a shot because I believe eventually humans manage to communicate even if the language barrier is there and I really took out time from a busy schedule for my hair. Next we proceeded to analyse my hair - he let me know that coloring will be done twice since my hair were two toned so I asked him about the pricing since Iād booked for cut + color which is listed at 165$ on their website plus 30$ extra for extra long hair which I have. He did not seem interested in even trying to let me know the pricing properly. Also, was letting me know that it will take 3 hours for coloring plus time for cut - was getting the feeling that he wanted me to cancel anyhow.
Anyway, I left because I could sense that he was just giving excuses after excuses to not work - it was the worst salon experience of my life. Rude atmosphere. Not going back. Also - he did not make any effort to try and book me again with someone else or say even a single sorry for wasting my time and energy.

Seiya simply snapped without portioning it up or cutting it bit by bit or layer by layer. No check if the hair balances all around, uneven length and I have to even prompt the so called senior director that it is uneven under my ear! Itās right infront and he pretended he didnāt see it! The fringe was cut only on one side and the other I have to remind him. Throughout the cut, he did not portion it up or to use a clip to trim and shape!! He simply snapped and the whole hairdo looked worse than a $3 haircut. Extremely unhappy with the service! I am wondering their reviews are genuine or fake with no customer pictures at all.. I doubt the authenticity.
Update to salonās reply: I have a phobia stepping into your salon. The experience is traumatic for me and I have to visit another salon and pay extra for them to solve your ādog bitten hair styleā on me. You may prove your sincerity by...

I had bad perm experience before, where my curl just disappeared the very next day.. (yes not joking) so what I wanted was to ensure I could trust my locks to someone skilled with it. On their official web booking system, I chose a set service of cut, digital perm and treatment with Seiji, whose bio mentioned he is good with soft perm. And he WAS. He was swift and precise, even recommended to do this cold perm instead (which was actly lower price than digital one I booked for) to what he felt was best for my style. And wow for the first time I had an real cool asymmetric short curl like I see on model shots.. (yes not my face but at least my hair..!) simply loved it. Topped with pleasant personality made me at ease for the entire process, so thanks!
