I went for Thai cooking in 2020 and it was really fun! I would recommend Hungry Mummies because Penelope is really warm and a great teacher. She even taught me the simplest cooking things I did not know how to do, without judging me :D There is a difference between trying recipes at home myself and going for her class, as she can share with me many cooking tips not written in recipes, and model how things are done. Thank you Penelope š // Went again for Asian dumpling in 2021, and now I am able to make dumplings (easy, yet impressive) for friends and family. :') Food served from the heart brings much joy. Penelope remains warm as ever, and I feel really comfortable asking all my noob...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a cooking lesson with Hungry Mummies yesterday, where I learnt to cook pork sausage cassoulet, fennel , sardine and tomato pasta and blue berry yoghurt cake. I seldom cook at all and have very limited cooking experience. Penelope was very patient, and she taught me even the basic skills such as how to cut vegetables, how to separate egg yolk from white, etc , in addition to the other techniques used for the dishes. For a complete noob like me, this was very much appreciated ! I enjoyed the cosy experience in a home kitchen, and will highly recommend her lessons to anyone looking to pick up basic cooking skills or hone their existing skills and expand on their cooking...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had such a great morning at Hungry Mummies learning how to make pork wontons and chicken rice. The class was so engaging and fun that the time flew by. Penelope was an excellent teacher and gave plenty of tips that will help with every day cooking too. Penelope had everything we needed for the class there already, so all we needed to do was show up.
I'd 100% recommend taking one of these classes to improve on cooking skills or even just for a fun afternoon with friends / colleagues.
Thanks Penelope and looking forward to joining...
