I recently availed of the hair extension service at this salon, initially attracted by the $380 bundle promo advertised on Instagram. However, upon arrival, I was informed that my hair length required the $480 bundle instead. Despite feeling a bit misled, I proceeded with the service.
Due to the thickness of my hair, a trim was necessary before the extensions were applied. Unfortunately, the salon owner, who performed the cut, took more thickness than expected, leaving me dissatisfied.
While the salon displayed expertise in hair extensions, there was a noticeable push for additional services, and declining often resulted in an unpleasant attitude from the staff. Also, I overheard the owner commenting to his staff in Chinese regarding my request for time change, assuming I couldn't understand, which further added to the negative experience.
Furthermore, there was an issue with hygiene as some staff members had noticeable bad breath, likely due to their breakfast/lunch choices, making the overall experience unbearable for a customer. Additionally, they insisted I leave a 5-star review before leaving the salon, which felt pressured and insincere.
Moreover, the hair color selected for my extensions was not accurate, and I experienced significant hair loss after their removal. This added to my disappointment with the overall service.
Waiting times were considerably long during busy periods, and the owner occasionally reprimanded staff in front of clients, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere.

Read moreI came to the salon because I saw Azula's review on tiktok and was enticed by the promo 380 for full head but when I came to the shop they explain 380 was for short shoulder length. For long length like below shoulder they told me it would be 500+. They did not pressure me or hardsell me, but made me feel welcomed at the salon instead. So I go ahead and did it. I was impressed and surprised by the quality of the hair. It is excellent and doesn't tangle easily, shiny and looks very natural and easy to maintain. I was happy and I went back home.
But due to itchy hands I got it trimmed because I wanted the butterfly long layered style but it was ugly done so I went back to the shop again. They treat me really nice and advise if I want to redo, they can redo but will charge me again la same price if not can come back on a different month. Again they did not pressure me to do it. But since I have an event next week and need the hair to look good I told them to remove and redo it. They ask if I want to do scalp treatment but when I said no they didn't not pressure me about it. The 2nd time they did it, it turn out better then the first one and both time I walked in ( on was on weekday I was off and 2nd time after work day in the evening).
I had a pleasant experience both times, and it was painless, carefully done by a few staffs to speed up the process. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who want to do hair extension and I would come here again next time. The boss and staffs are all very nice people. Read moreGo at your own risk! I regretted not reading the 1 star reviews. They are all true. 5 stars reviews are mostly forced to write after service and not on customer's own willingness.
Reason 1: They do not accept questions from customers when in doubt.
Reason 2: Attitude problem 🙄 Bad temper. 👎 Roll eyes at customers. Raise voice when asking what's the price difference for hair extension. Customers are spending $500-800 but they don't allow questions. Boss showed even more attitude except for female boss. Lack of customer service.
Reason 3: Business model is super old school. Super super pushy. No class at all. Did not want to give customer to think if they should do other services on top of what customer wants.
Reason 4: impatient. They do not want to listen and want customer to listen to them. They will just cut off your sentences.Wow. First in my life.
Reason 5: Badmouth you loudly to other customers so that he makes sure you can hear it. Same thing happen to another reviewer.
Reason 6: Extension smells weird 😕. It's as though someone has used it before. Have some hair split on the extension.
Reason 7: Price is not transparent. Don't trust their ads. Too many reviewers had mentioned. So, do you think it's true?
