Koča pri Savici (653 m) — Local services in Bohinj

Just what you need! The dormitory (18euros) is small and full of beds but if you sleep with nice people its ok. The breakfast is perfect as you can get one drink (coffee/tea/hot chocolate) ; bred, butter and jam and two eggs for 5 euros ! The toilets were clean and the shower also (a bit wet outside tho ...) The host wasnt really smiling and talking (but he wasnt mean at all). However he was efficient You can leave your luggage if you want ! All in all I 100%...

We booked for one night in the 17 person dormitory. We arrived at 5:30pm and were told that the kitchen closes at 6pm, which was not communicated to us beforehand. We then asked if we could take a shower as it was advertised on the website. The owner told us that we can‘t use it, without offering an explanation or apology. Lovely hut to stay in for the night. Good standard of rooms and a shared bathroom. The staff was lovely enough to cook something for us although the kitchen had closed, since the booking said it closed at 8pm but really it closed at 7pm. Wanted to go directly from here up the steep route past Slap Savici and into the national park but beware that this route is not recommended due to falling/sliding rocks.
