I can understand the good and not so good reviews. The positive first: the place is beautifully situated in the middle of the vineyard, on the upper seats you have a great view and we felt very comfortable. The place is has an nice size, there is a washing machine, a pool and you can buy the company's wine directly on site. The atmosphere is very nice, I would give 4.5 stars for that. In addition, the young woman at the reception was very nice and helpful! The negative: for such a small place, I found the sanitary facilities below average. In the upper area of the campsite there was a small house with 2 showers and 2 toilets, which is quite tight. During the four days of our stay, the toilets were not very clean, toilet paper was often missing, there were black spots in the showers and cobwebs everywhere. In addition, it was impossible to have a relaxed shower: if you press the button for the water, it comes on for 3 seconds and then goes off again and you have to press it again. That has nothing to do with saving water, it's just exhausting because you can hardly manage to rinse the foam out of your hair. Most pitches are on the hillside and it is a little challenging to position yourself with a larger caravan or motorhome. We would also have wished that the signage from the main road was better. There are 2 ways to the campsite, however the sign on the road is small and in our opinion indicates the worse way. The driveway was totally narrow and adventurous, you have to be careful depending on the size of the vehicle. Neutral/ good to know: In the evenings you could only sit in the bistro and restaurant with a reservation, so unfortunately we couldn't stop there. The menu including wine tasting costs 78 euros per person - everyone has to decide for themselves whether it's worth it. During the day, until about 5 p.m., you can sit there without a reservation and you can buy small snacks or ice cream, drink a wine or Aperol etc. Overall we would come back as the place is so beautifully situated. But you have the feeling that the price (high price compared to other small campsite) is mainly due to the beautiful location and not because of...
Read moreWe stayed here for one night and felt it was about 20 euros overpriced for the night. It was difficult to tow a large caravan up to the vineyard and the pitches are not level. There is no shade and the pitch is quite small. There are 2 shower blocks with only 2 male and 2 female showers in each. Not enough for the number of pitches, of which there were much more than we expected. The shower button cuts out after only a few seconds so is annoying|The swimming pool is very small and was crowded to the point we couldn't safely use it. Plus we see that the bee/wasp problem is not resolved. The pool was plagued with them so it was not safe for small children to walk without risking stepping on one.||The wine tasting was 28 euros each which we thought was a lot. The wine is nice but nothing spectacular. We had hoped to eat in the restaurant mentioned on the website but on arrival discovered that the only option was a 7 course taster menu paired with wine for 88 euros each. We couldn't therefore do that as were travelling with 3 young children including a baby who would not sit that long. We weren't offered any alternative.||The staff are really friendly and helpful but the owner is not at all approachable. Everything including bread is overpriced and the experience devalued by overcrowding. One gets the feeling of being ripped off as opposed to paying a fair price for good value. The experience did not match the price.||We lost electricity multiple times throughout the evening. We would not stay again or recommend for the price paid. Knock off 20 euros or don't take so many people and the experience would match the price. Yes it's high season but you still expect to get what you pay for. There are other much better...
