Old castle (ruin) with nice views of Soča river valley. We went there from Gabrje and got back through Tolmin (the whole trip around 15 km, nothing difficult). The road uphill is well preserved.

Attualmente ci sono importanti lavori in corso per il restauro sia all'esterno che all'interno. Il parcheggio vicino è piccolo per il numero di macchine che abbiamo trovato (inizio agosto) tanto che abbiamo dovuto aspettare 30 Min prima di trovare un posto. Il percorso per arrivarci non è proprio ben segnalato (noi abbiamo sbagliato strada e ci siamo trovati a fare i tornanti usati dai mezzi del cantiere sotto il sole). Bella la vista sulla valle.

Stevige klim naar boven! Wij kwamen hier na een bezoek aan de Tolmin Gorge en begonnen onze wandeling op parking P2. We namen het kiezelpad (autoweg) naar boven en namen de terugweg door het bos, waar je voorbij een oorlogsbunker komt. Je treft er een mooi uitzicht op de vallei maar helaas is het kasteel zelf grotendeels afgesloten wegens...
