I read some negative reviews, but now I see that they were written by people who don’t appreciate good food or expect to eat a lot for very little money. This restaurant is truly outstanding from A to Z. As soon as we entered, we felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately captivated us. The surroundings are beautifully maintained, and the ambiance is very pleasant, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying great food.

The staff is very friendly, attentive, and professional, which is rare these days. The hospitality we experienced was truly on a high level, reflected in every detail. The food is exceptional—freshly prepared, full of flavor, and made with top-quality ingredients. Every dish is a true masterpiece, showcasing the passion and expertise of the chefs.

I must also praise the selection of wines, which perfectly complement the dishes and enhance the overall experience. This entire dining experience convinced us that we will definitely return. Pizzeria Soča 202 in Tolmin deserves the lowest possible rating. The food is bad, the prices are average, but everything else is pure disappointment. Soft drinks are poured from cheap 1.5L plastic bottles, the terrace is overcrowded with tables, and waiters barely squeeze through while brushing right past the guests – you’re literally eating while someone walks behind you just a few centimeters away.

The atmosphere is rushed and unpleasantly pushy. As soon as you put down your cutlery, they rush to clear the table as if they want you to leave immediately. Worst of all, they don’t issue receipts unless you explicitly ask for them. They happily take your money, but you really have to insist on getting a receipt. Even tap water is charged, which says a lot about their attitude toward guests.

We were four friends and parked in front of a pizzeria, with the intention of going to that pizzeria. The waiter from this pizzeria, Soča 202, came outside and waving called us over, standing very close to us and saying that the parking was only for their customers. We didn’t want to go to them, but felt uncomfortable and a bit scared, as we weren’t sure if the parking was really only theirs. When we went inside, the tables were too close together, everything was too cramped, which we didn’t like because you didn’t have privacy from others. The food was standard, nothing special, and the prices were expensive.
