The camp itself has lies on the shore of the lake, and also has a great location near to the Velenje city centre, for easier visit of the city, exploration of the medieval city castle above the town, museum of crystals&stone colection, mining museum, etc. There is also a well visited path all arround the lake, appropriate for relaxing walks, as well as for different sports activities, such as running, bicycle riding, roller skating, etc.
