I am unable to ignore deep-fried camembert on a menu... especially with a berry sauce/jus accompaniment - it was divine! We therefore opted for two starters, and maybe pudding (the home-made crisps and olives put on the table are irresistible). My hubby said his calamari tubes and squid heads starter was probably the best calamari he has ever had. And then the puddings! (Oink). He devoured his nougat type ice cream. Last time we were there, I opted for (a magnificent) crème brulé, but being an adventurous creature, I chose death by chocolate this time. The ice cream and chocolate sauce was unbelievable! For someone like me, who doesn't really have a sweet tooth, to devour it all up, says something. Always a 100% there....

Excellent. The owner, Pieter, is involved in his restaurant and it shows in its overall excellence. His staff are exceptional and his food, especially the steaks are absolutely excellent. I have eaten there 4 times in the last month for various occassions and each time the food and service has been on point. The Hussar Grill is 'n bekende franchise, hy is meer aan die fancier en duurder kant van franchises. Ek beplan glad nie om franchise te review op my page nie maar as daar een is wat ek wel wil skryf oor is dit beslis The Hussar Grill!

Worcester Hussar Grill is baie na aan my hart want dis ons go-to anniversary dinner eetplek en omdat hulle kos regtig altyd lekker is en omdat hulle so akomideurend en vriendelik is.

Hulle vra glad nie corkage fee's, jy kan jou eie wyn of champagne neem en die waiter is haastig en gaaf genoeg om n ys bak te bring. As jy 'n steak lief hebber is, is hierdie beslis die plek vir jou maak nie saak of jy n ribeye, sirloin, rump of fillet persoon is nie. Die steaks is altyd perfectly cooked en eet-hom-sonder-tande sag. Hulle menu is uitstekend met n verskeidenheid van opsisies, daar is beslis iets vir elkeen.

Die atmosfeer is romanties en baie cozy met die sagte beligting en die Frank Sanatra tipe musiek in die agtergrond. Selfs die donker hout meubels, boeke in die rakke, quilted banke dra by tot hierdie romantiese 'sit voor die kaggel met n glas rooiwyn' atmosfeer.

Dis nie regtig n resturant wat jy kinders heen vat nie maar hulle was baie akomideurend teenoor my kleintjies tenopsigte van kos (ek het twee baie picky eaters) en selfs om die wifi pin te deel sodat ons hulle op YouTube kids rustig hou🙈
