To whom ever reads this let it be know. On Thurday 21 May i went to Buco Uitenhage. And purchased so Rhino Boards which where arranged to be delivered in Uitenhage Friday 22 May. Which the sales person went to confirm with store they could do. But because of lockdown restriction, I would need to unload myself as they cannot send helpers. this is all understandable and I'm happy they can at less deliver for me. I inform them I would be coming from PE so I would be there after 9am to be safe. The saleman still added a remake to slip between 9 and 11. So this morning I bring along a helper to help unload and we wait. At around 1 to 2 pm. I call the store to be told after 2 attempts to talk to sales person or store. The lady i spoke to said she would find out and come back to me, which she did the fist time to tell me that the store was not aware of the delivery. Which on Thursday, I was assured was arranged and that the computer system had sent copies to storeman. Ok so we can all make mistakes it OK. But this is not the reason for this letter. I tell the lady calling me back the story and she says she will check and come back to me. She does call me back minutes later to say the store has messed up and was busy loading to deliver. Great a good come back from dropping the ball. 4pm no delivery still waiting, try to call no one there no answer to phone calls, so I drive to store locked up everyone gone home and no delivery. So no contact numbers for store owner or manager. 9 am to 4 pm special trip to Uitenhage to unload your truck, helper paid for waiting around, You realize your mistake and say you will rectify, great I can take that. Then you leave me waiting a few hours longer and you lock up and run away. So I still have no goods I paid for, I'm i expected to bring help again tomorrow with me from PE? Do you deliver on Saterday? When will you deliver? I'm shocked. Please come back to me and let me how you are going to make this right? I don't have to give me my delivery or invoice number or do i. I'm I not the only one. I will be there tomorrow morning to get answers but you need to be shamed....
   Read moreMy review is actually about one person that's bringing the whole company down. We bought white and storm gray melamine here that was cut and edged for my daughter's kitchen. We had to go back 9 times to get it right. First they brought all the boards to my house. Some was chipped. So we send them back. Then we waited almost a week to get those. In the meantime we bought some more melamine for extra cupboards. The first lot came back cut too long or too short. We send it back. We also didn't receive the whole order by this time. There was still pieces outstanding. My husband complained to Frans about the service. My daughter's fiance fetched it this time. Then the doors was too long. They also charged for an extra 5 meters of edging because apparently that's the way the machine cuts it. Frans got very rude with us when I asked about it. I then told him that this isn't how you should address a customer, why don't you rather call the manager and get the issue resolved. He ignored me and stormed off. I searched for the manager but there was onl a operating manager available. She spoke with him and brought us the excess edging. We got the other lot only today, two weeks after we first bought it. Very poor service from Frans and I'm sure it cost the company heaps in mistakenly cut boards. I'll rather buy in PE as I used to do as Frans told me I should buy there next time,...
   Read moreI wouldn't recommend this place. The ladies operating the phone calls are incompetent and rude. Generally the shop is racist, the guy checking the items at the door is warm and welcoming towards white people and very cold to people of colour. The staff here talks to you in Afrikaans when they can clearly see you're a person of colour. Also if you're black. They call the one black guy who there to help you. If you do use the shop, rather bring your own transport. The delivery for my goods was three days late. Maybe Buco's in other towns are better, but definitely...
