The bridge and views are spectacular, but the trail and bridge need maintenance and are potentially unsafe. Will be forwarding the following items onto SAN Parks so please let me know if these items have been addressed so that I can't give this beautiful place the 5 stars it deserves.
A beautiful walk in Tsitsikama National Park which passes through the dense forest and starts from Untouched Adventures. The total distance of the hike to rescue Suspension Bridge is around 1 KM. Proper wooden pathway is there to take you to suspension bridge. However, I’ll highly recommend that you wear proper shoes at the journey requires a lot of walking and climbing on the way. Beautiful scenery you get to see during your journey. On the way and once you reaches there you will also get a lot of photo opportunities. As it is a National park please do not liter the place. Also do carry sufficient water with you for the journey. You might also find small water streams on the way and can have a sip of refreshing sweet water directly flowing from the nearby mountains. Overall an amazing small hiking activity which is absolutely free and is surrounded with beautiful scenery and therapeutic nature sounds, hike to Suspension bridge is a must do activity if you’re exploring Tsitsikama...

Visiting the suspension bridge is always an amazing experience, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. The walk to the bridge is well-designed, with clear walkways, signage, and stairs, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
The views are simply unforgettable—whether it’s the dramatic landscapes, the lush greenery, or the incredible wildlife and birdlife that keep you captivated along the way. We visited in the evening, and the light drizzle added a magical touch to the scenery, making the experience even more special. Driving in from Nature’s Valley made for a scenic and enjoyable journey as well.
