I grew up on Umkomaas golf course and hit my first golf ball on this course, I even had the privilege of Tim Clark giving me a coaching lesson back in the days. It is absolutely amazing, beautiful course but tricky which keeps you on your toes. They have kids golf on a saturday which is always good for the kids and the view are breathtaking and the kitchen is under new management food is amazing very tasty. Very friendly service and great deals. Monday are a very great price for 18 hiles aswell as Sunday they also do a 6pin competition every Friday which is very good fun.

Tee boxes needs attention. Some holes could be made longer, some shorter.....perhaps even an elevated tee box for hole 18 and some extra bunkers for hole 15 for more defense. Hole 3 needs more of a flat landing area on the right side of the fairway.

This is a great course that makes for a fun round - generous fairways, well kept greens and stunning scenery. Not a long course but a great test of golf

Hubby Billy played at the club's St. Paddy's Day party and it was so festive. Members dressed in green and enjoyed Guinness pie and a delicious Irish stew from The Hole In One team. A festive afternoon with perfect weather, dancing to great music. Well done to Umkomaas Golf Club. There's always something going on at the Friendliest Club. There's also regular wine-tasting, which is a popular evening. Rachel and her kitchen staff make delicious meals that taste like home...
