Ottery Hyper — Local services in Ottery

Hi Guys In the center entrance. There is a cellphone island shop just before perfume island. I took my wife and my phone to have the phone glass protector Changed which the shop owner said was going to be R150 each. Then I asked how long then he joked and He recons to me saying... do I want to give him more money for the job... This is where his mind was from get go. Stopping at that Cellphone shop Litterally spoilt my whole day. He tried to fit a protector on my wife's phone that didnt fit. It was obviously for a bigger phone because the frame of the protector was touching the phone frame (none screen part). I told him I don't like it then he tried to sell her 2 phone silicone protectors for R700 ( for our 2 phones) . This isn't what I wanted. I expressed my point of view beside the fact that we can't afford it so he said that he will give it to us for R150 silicone protector and mine will be R150 glass protector. On our way home we spoke about what had happened and my wife tells me that he charged her 600 fxxxkin rand anyway. I never spend that amount of money on anything. Unless its my cars service or house rent or credit card premiums.

Hyper is a family mall I had no idea that I had to be on the lookout for shop vender hustlers that Literally takes advantage and robs the vulnerable.

An guess what the protector that was put on my phone is obviously for a smaller phone so now my screen stand the risk of cracking from a fall. I was better off not stopping at that catastrophic island cellphoneshop. He seems like a nice guys but going through what I've experienced. His either desperate to get cash or he really just greedy. We basically just stopped there because its ottery hyper and we were on our way out and its part of the experience of visiting the mall. Whenever we visit ottery hyper it's lekker but not since Saturday. We've had the screen protectors that he removed for about 4 to 6 years it wasn't necessary to replace the 2. It was cracked beyond but still worked 100%

This is nt. Mall, looks more like a fleamarket, it's also nt safe, there is alot of unsavory characters lurking in and around parking lot..this Pick Pay is the worst bakery, and butchery where quality is concerned, there butchery is so unkempt, as well as staff, shouldn't be place work close contact with food, especially meat..there bakery is a total no, do urself favour and go to a decent mall like constantia pick pay, and see how a mall...

They are upgrading. Bit awkward shopping there at the moment with all the renovations and extensions but worth the while when completed in November. Horrible finding the produce you looking for in PnP. Shelving being shifted continuously and you can never find what you need without assistance. PnP staff extremely friendly...
