So, following the last update I emailed them again to tell them they'd failed to deliver a second time. I've copied and pasted their response.
'We sent it for delivery just after 1pm. Please contact Karen (076 * * our manager, if you still haven’t received it, because she is doing the delivery personally. Kind regards, Amelia.'
Poor Amelia wasn't feeling contacting the manager herself I guess. Is it possible Karen's the problem?
UPDATED: They offered to deliver today. I accepted and stayed home waiting but nobody came. Horror. The strike is over today.
They didn't bother to contact me to tell me they were having problems fulfilling my order due to the taxi strike. They simply didn't pitch up. I emailed them about the delivery twice and when they replied to my second email asking for a refund they didn't apologise for the massive inconvenience. Shocking. I really enjoy eating here. It's a small place that serves delicious salads, smoothies and great hot chips. The coffee is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. They sell a range of fresh organic foods including fresh turmeric which is quite hard to find. I like their selection of essential oils. I highly recommend the nut milk Smoothie. I think it is...

We took a table and waited and waited . . . We then asked one of the ladies for attention I don't work in the restaurant, it's separate from the shop" Another long wait with much arm waving we have a friendly lady's attention and order - we're there for the smashed avo on toast but guess what . . . No avo!! (It's avo season you guys and there's a basket full in the shop 5m away!!) I'm not going to blame the staff ("sorry there's only two of us") but where is management? Where is the eye contact and welcome at the door? I'm in the service training industry and this is the ABC of service . . . My friend was embarrassed and the poached egg on...
