Next to the start of the hike to Apsan Mountian, is this Army museum about the Korean War.

A lot of military equipment outside to include a plane.

Inside are lots of North Korean artifacts to include weapons, uniforms, and maps.

The signs are in Korean and English and are a good place to learn about the Korean war and the war in the area.

A museum dedicated to the Korean war located at the foothills of Apsan mountain. The museum itself is free with a outdoor area just in front. The displays here lack English descriptions but Google translate helped me out a lot with the camera feature.

If you're planning to visit make sure to visit Apsan cable car just a short walk up...

Nakdong River Memorial Hall. It's free. It's a war museum. Around Daegu, you can find lots of this kind of memorials for the Korean war. It's not like other cities. Daegu is very famous for conservativism. It's like Texas or Austin in USA. It's a result of Korean McCarthyism.
