I took a day tour from Seoul. 4 hours+ both ways. Missed the fall foliage, the leaves were gone in November. Was a sunny beautiful Wednesday, the park was crowded. There are hiking trails, a short cable car, food all around, lots of people, would I recommend the tour? No. Walking up at 4 then a way too long bus ride for 5 hour stay in the park in the crowd. 가족들과 함께 산책로를 따라 걷다가 잠시 멈춰 자연과 사찰의 조화를 감상하며 힐링하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 아직 단풍 시즌은 아니었지만, 내장사의 매력은 계절에 상관없이 충분히 느낄 수 있었습니다. 정읍을 방문한다면 꼭 들러야 할 명소로, 자연과 전통을 사랑하는 모든 이에게 강력히 추천합니다.

Last month, I visited Naejangsa, located in Naejangsan, Jeongeup, with my family. Nestled among the lush forests of Naejangsan, Naejangsa captivated us from the moment we arrived. The harmonious blend of traditional architecture and the surrounding nature was truly breathtaking. The temple was impeccably maintained, and the pervasive sense of calm and tranquility left a lasting impression on our entire family. We were particularly struck by the traditional Buddhist architecture and the meticulously cared-for gardens throughout the grounds. The warm hospitality of the monks, along with their brief explanations, helped us gain a deeper understanding of the temple’s history and significance. Walking along the paths with my family, we paused to soak in the serene beauty of the temple and its natural surroundings, creating a truly rejuvenating experience. Though it wasn’t yet the peak of autumn foliage, Naejangsa’s charm was undeniable regardless of the season.
