This was a really fantastic experience.
First off, the guys running this trip were 10/10 - they were engaging, funny, knowledgable and their priority was making sure everyone stayed safe, felt as comfortable as possible and had fun. It really helped that it was clear they were having fun throughout the day, too!
Unfortunately, the day we had booked was right after quite the wind storm in Mallorca, and so the sea was a fair bit choppy. However, the hosts made sure everyone was comfortable at any point they were in the water (including helping a few not-so-confident swimmers back to the cliffs).
The company provided water shoes, life vests and hard hats for the experience - all you need is your swimwear and a good attitude!
Our adventure started with a short walk from the beach to the cliffs, which took us briefly through a residential area, but mostly a wooded area along a well worn path with some stairs. Not a difficult walk and really easy for any level of fitness. The views coming down the stairs towards the cliffs were beautiful! (Half of our group kayaked, and would walk the journey back while our group would kayak the journey back).
We then spent a short time on the cliffs before going into the sea cave. Be warned - this is not a big open cave you can walk in to, and you do have to climb down between some rocks (it’s bigger than a hole, but not much!) into the cave. I have mild claustrophobia, but once I was through the entrance I was fine - others might not be, so take this into consideration before heading down. That being said - the staff were very clear to me about what was coming ahead as we travelled through the cave system, so I knew what to expect and whether or not I was comfortable proceeding (which I was).
I won’t tell you too much about the cave system, as that’s all part of the experience. I will say that, despite the very choppy water, I thoroughly enjoyed it! On a day like ours, I wouldn’t recommend this for younger kids, but I imagine on a calmer day it would have been a great experience for kids.
On the other side of the cave system, we swam a short distance in the open water to some stairs where we climbed back onto the cliff side. Again, on a calm day this would be an easy enough short swim for any level of swimmer, but on our day there were a few overwhelmed by the slightly rough sea. However, the staff were very aware of everyone in the water and made sure to support anyone who was in need of assistance back to shore.
Once back on the cliff side everyone had the option to jump down into the sea and/or go snorkelling - the jump was maybe 3 metres or so, so nothing too risky! We were also assured the snorkels had all been sanitised between tours!
The views from the cliff side were stunning - I suspect it’s a local spot for watching the world go by. It was quiet, peaceful and picturesque.
The last part of our journey was kayaking back to the beach. With the water being a bit on the choppy side, our hosts did give people the option to walk back to the beach if they didn’t feel comfortable being on the rocky water. We opted to kayak - I have done this a few times in calm lochs, and so the choppy sea was quite a but different! However, again, the hosts made sure everyone felt safe and there was a motor powered boat following us to pickup anyone who was struggling, as well as a host in a kayak to keep us in the right direction!
Back at the beach, the hosts put on a small picnic with some music to enjoy while we got dried off and changed.
Throughout the whole day, hosts were taking pictures and making everyone laugh and have fun.
All in all, this was a cracking day and I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a little slice...

Armed with a dare devilish spirit and my partner in crime – my step daughter – we set out on what can only be described as a Bond movie minus the tuxedos and martinis! (There was a beer skulled back by someone, but I will let you find out yourself why)
Firstly, let me tell you about Luca - the Leonardo da Vinci of Mallorca. This tall Spanish lad was not just our guide; he was our fearless leader, comedian, historian, interpreter, and more! I mean, the guy could speak French so fluently, even my high school French teacher would have shed a tear of joy. My step daughter and I were left wondering if there's something this guy can't do - apart from making good jokes, that is.
The grand tour started with the three water cave system. It was so magical; I half expected Ariel to start singing any moment. Luca, our guide come comedian, led us through the mysterious, glistening caves, all the while narrating fun facts and dropping a few jokes. His puns were so bad, they'd make a dad joke blush - yet we laughed till we took a splash of water to the face.
Next came the cliff jumping. Imagine, if you will, a middle-aged man and his teenage daughter, jumping off cliffs like action movie stars. Scary? Maybe. Hilarious? Absolutely. But no worries, the safety was top-notch, and our guides, especially Luca, ensured that we were comfortable, secure, and ready to take a leap of faith.
Then it was time for snorkelling, where we befriended more fish than Ariel in her entire career. Even the fish seemed to laugh at Luca's jokes, either that or they were blowing extra bubbles to keep him afloat!
Finally, we hopped into our kayaks. Luca had us paddling in synchrony like Olympic champions. Well, not exactly... it was more like Laurel and Hardy on a boating trip. But, that didn’t dampen our spirits - in fact, it only increased our amusement.
I couldn't recommend The Challenge Mallorca more! Whether you're a thrill-seeking family like us, a loved-up couple, or solo adventurers, this is the place to be. Just be prepared for a tidal wave of laughter, fun and a little bit of competitiveness.
In short, if you're looking for a combination of adventure, excitement, and a dash of embarrassing humour, get ready to paddle your way into a sea of fun. Brace yourself, though – you might leave with an achy belly from all the laughter, and a new appreciation for bad jokes. Now go on, take the plunge with The Challenge Mallorca - you...
Read morewe were part of a huge group (roughly 70 people) and the conclusion is that most of the 3 hours mentioned as activities are actually either getting everyone ready to go or come back and time waiting for everyone to get it or get out / start stop the activities. You could do everything in max one hour (kayaking, cave, cliff jumping and snorkeling). Because of the big group we actually left towards the activites almost after one hour, at 10: 45 instead of 10:00. We were back at 12:45. For example seeing a cave would have taken max 5 minutes but because of the wait to get everyone in and out and go through it it took more than 30 minutes. It is also not pleasant to have so many people waiting in the water in tight places.
There is a split of the group in two and one group actually has to walk to the cave vs the other who gets to kayak there. The walk is 10 minutes out of which there is nothing to see and 5 minutes are actually on the road. The groups switch on the other way meaning those who walked get to kayak and vice versa.
Value for money is low, knowing what I actually get for my money I would most definetly not go again. The goal of the business is to roll huge numbers of people through it at the disadvantage of the experience for the customers.
I will mention as a plus the four guides we had with us. They were polite, entertaining and well organised. I did feel safe through these activities and they were very responsive with questions and requests. Big thanks to them, they...
