Absolutely unpleasant experience! We took a menu of de dia Shortly, I received a way smaller and poor in protein(no mariscos comparing to my friends, and just some dead chicken wings) portion of paella, so I POLITELY asked for a bit more mariscos. The waiter completely ignored this fact and seemed annoyed, after a bit persistent request, he took the whole plate away just to purposely bring it waaaay later (lady next to me got it earlier, even tho he said they are making a completely new one) From that moment, the treatment of our table changed. He was constantly rolling eyes in our direction, delayed bringing our meals, meanwhile serving a table next to us with proper timing and positive attitude. After the half of hour wait for my missing paella and confronting about the situation he was absolutely unapologetic, saying it's normal to wait 20 min for new paella(which i didn't ask for even). He was pretending he didn't understand my English and blamed it on timing when I specifically said I also don't appreciate the attitude. Another waiter came back up his attitude without conversation about the whole situation. Food was okay, even tho after such treatment, it's very easy to lose appetite. In the end manager tried to fix the situation a bit, but the waiter till the end kept his attitude, intruded the conversation with manager and even decided to go to complain to my friends behind my back about me, when I left ot bathroom for a second, and even said I should delete this review. No, please enjoy it. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Thank you very much for a disrespectful approach and making my day and our lunch a nightmare.
PLEASE RESPECT YOUR COSTUMERS! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
Read moreWe visited this place four times during our one week holiday in Mallorca. The seafood was very nice and there were also other options for teenagers who wanted something else. Service and food was nice but during our last visit our paella was suddenly taken away before we were finished with it, our glasses were tried to be cleared out before we were finished and when I asked for the check I was asked to pay at the bar. Paying at bar would normally be fine but the guy in a blue shirt that asked me to do this just went running around the restaurant ignoring me. Eventually I asked another (much more polite) guy at the bar if I could pay the bill and while he was a bit confused, I got it done. This all may sound a bit weird but that is exactly how we felt. Maybe things would have been smoother if our Spanish was better, but we did our best with Spanish, English and German. Before this last visit I would have given this place four stars but with this strange, even hostile visit I feel like I can not give more than two. Food was nice but sorry guys, service means a lot to me. And I must mention we did leave tips for you after...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped here last Sunday afternoon after walking from Alcudia. The place was quite busy with local people having lunch however we found a table and sat down and I placed the small bottle of water, which I had been carrying, on the uncovered table. A few minutes later a surly waitress, whom I took to be the owner, was passing our table and she pushed the bottle towards me saying something in Spanish whilst pointing to the floor....Obviously she didnt want the bottle on the table, but there was no por favor or gracias when I did as requested.I was quite taken aback by her attitude which didnt improve when she more or less threw two menus on our table without speaking or looking at us! Needless to say we walked out immediately. On our way back to Alcudia we stopped at the Bodega del Sol about 10 minutes walk away and what a difference! Traditional Spanish bar serving lovely food and drinks and the staff pleasant and accommodating. So if youre thinking of going to Bonaire give the Cocodrilo a miss and call in at the Bodega del Sol, you wont be...
