Anyone would think that Ikea Badalona doesn't want to sell anything! I've waited an entire morning for someone to come and measure for a new kitchen. I paid €40 for the service 3 weeks ago with a planned date for today and no one showed. I had one phone call from someone telling me that my address was out of his area, and that I would get a call from another within an hour, and guess what? nothing! Like everyone has a whole day just to wait around for ikea during the working week, zero respect for someone having to take annual leave.Well Ikea youve just lost yourselves €5,000 just because your customer service is so awful. There is actually no way to complain or find out whats going on because the telephone number is automated system that just keeps you waiting until it cuts off, the online chat exactly the same, and there is no contact form or email address for customer service complaints on the website. So basically there is zero customer service! Dont waste your time...
Read moreI was at IKEA Badalona to buy some Billy book shelves. One of the details I needed was quite deeply located. When they added a new pallet, they probably put a stack of remaining boxes from the previous pallet in front, but that stack was now long gone, so I had to crawl inside the pallet rack to grab the box I needed. On my way out, I hit accidentally hit the back of my head heavily against the horizontal bar of the rack. It's still aching, after more than 30 hours. An employee was walking by, and he LAUGHED AT ME and commented (in Spanish) that "This happens all the time". He offered no compassion and didn't even check how I was doing. (I made a photo of him, too, but won't publish it here, since it'd be easy to identify him from that photo, but if he was doing his job correctly, maintaining safety for the customers by gradually moving remaining goods closer to the border of the pallet rack, then this wouldn't "happen...

They pretend that the financing is super straightforward and always approved, but then deny it without any explanation and I am pretty sure it's because we're not Spanish. Of course, the financing is arranged with the worst Spanish bank - Caixabank so I am not surprised.
The worst thing is that they don't care at all about it and they don't even bother to tell you the reason why the financing was denied (we have 80k€ combined income per year, enough work history and the amount asked for was around 8k€).
Kitchen also includes a lot of wasted space as they include so called panels to make sure that they can rectify any mistakes at measuring later at the installation. They included 20cm of useless wasted space on 2.8m long kitchen..
In the end we went with the competitor "Meroy Larlin" and the experience was much better...
