An amazing place to be with yourself or with the most loved person you have. I know this because I was here a year ago by myself. I sat there with a beautiful view on clouds above and beneath you and just thought about my life and decisions I have made. Then year later I came back with my girlfriend of 3 years and we sat there. I proposed to her. I said that she already is a big part of who I am, of me. I asked her to marry me. She didn't expect anything like this, however she burst out in tears (seemed to be happy tears) and said yes. She said "oh my god, yes, so so so yes". I mean... The feeling you get before and after such move is a big roller-coaster. At first, your heart is banging of excitement like your neighbours and after she says yes you feel like you're casually swimming through clouds. I hope everyone who read this will experience such feelings and will have a happy life. Definitely come to this place....

En las inmediaciones de la ermita hay un epígrafe en el que podemos leer: "La situación de esta ermita es muy pintoresca, con vistas al lado de oriente y al lado del sur. Como se ve, se había aprovechado una cueva natural. Se entraba por una escalera de 60 escalones excavados en la misma roca y por un puente de madera sobre el riscal.

Pedro de Burgos dice que "estaba en unas cuevas en una gran peña, y a los que miran abajo les parece estar en el aire". Laborde, describe la ermita como "si pareciera aplicada sobre la roca sin que nada la aguante. Pero la vivienda de apariencia muy estrecha es agradable y bien arreglada interiormente. Entre la roca y la muralla hay unas cuantas habitaciones bajas pero cómodas, un vestíbulo abierto, un cuarto, una capilla, una cocina, flores, el sol del mediodía, árboles con las ramas que llegan a las ventanas y la magnífica vista de la llanura... Todo este conjunto forma un habitáculo capaz de borrar todas las penas... Está cerca de la de San Juan, en otros tiempos estaba unida, pero se ha destruido la comunicación, y aunque los dos ermitaños puedan hablarse desde sus ventanas, deben caminar media hora para verse".
