Mediterranean Sports Hub - Futbol Salou — Local services in Salou

Our boys U13 team had a great time playing at the Costa Daurada Cup in April 2025. The atmosphere at the Futbol Salou Center and mix of international teams was a blast. But the organizers should be more honest and transparent about the dizzying number of off-site locations where the matches are played. While there is some vague language on their website about not all matches being at the Futbol Salou Center, they should be more clear to say that most/all first round matches are in fact spread across 15 different fields, some of which are 25 minutes drive from Salou. Parents making arrangements to stay and expecting to walk to/from Futbol Salou Center will be in for a surprise when their child's match is a €50 taxi ride away in Les Borges (great facility, but still). This issue should also be resolved for the teams' sake, since bus/coach drivers are not happy to learn that they're expected to drive all around the region instead of to/from the hotel and the Futbol Salou Center. Organizers could also do a better job communicating the skill level of teams registering, as there seems to be a very wide range of teams. We fit in the middle (YTSI Score 63) but some teams got clobbered 14-0 by teams that weren't proving anything to anyone by signing up for the wrong tournament. The first two days were somewhat wasted sorting teams into Gold, Silver, and Bronze Cups, but this could have easily been completely avoided by simply requiring a comparison metric like YTSI Score and immediately placing teams into three levels. Pre-planning could go smoother, not all was communication was clear from beginning.

During the event the staff was helpfull to find solutions to our needs in any way possible

Location was very accesable We had all the space we needed. Parking available.

Venue has a lot of potential and with right conditions we will be back...

Muy mal, seguro medico inexistente arreglárselas como puedas irresponsabilidad permitiendo club o escuelas deportivas que agreden físicamente a jugadores por parte del equipo contrario entrenadoresy no son expulsadas del torneo lamentable la poca comunicación de la organizacion esperando comunicación del seguro de organización después de más de 10 días con lesión grave y corriendo de mi bolsillo porque por temas administrativos se están limpiando las manos para no hacerse cargo desaconsejo participación de cualquier entidad deportiva hasta que no subsanen esto y muchos más fallos que vi desde localización indicación eso oooes lo de menos solo reparto de agua cuatro botellines pequeños para más de 25 niños por equipo a más de 28 grados y los padres a comprar cada botellin de 33 cl a 3,50€ porque no tenían botella grande exagerados los precios los staff se veían pero ni ellos sabían de qué hacer cuando in jugador necesita asistencia un asco pero muy grande para escribir aquí repito muy lamentable el peor torneo en 20 años...
